Business Awards. Our judges looked at the winners in each category, in those three awards, and arrived at the overall winners for West Dorset.
This means you cannot enter these awards only the individual ones listed above plus the new Portland awards. Then you will have a chance of being a winner in the West Dorset Business Awards in 2024.

Nomination Process for West Dorset Gold Business Awards
You can't nominate a business in these awards as they are not open for entries or nominations - the judges look at the category winners in the Weymouth, Bridport, Portland and Dorchester awards judge the entries again and arrive at the West Dorset winners from them. However you can nominate a business in any of those awards when they are open. Just follow the link under Awards on the Marketing West website. The nominations process is a straightforward but fantastic way to recognise business excellence and innovation in those towns. Whether you're a business owner or a local resident, anyone can nominate a business. Here's how:

West Dorset Gold Business Awards Judges
​
A panel of independent judges assesses the winning entries and nominations in the Weymouth, Dorchester, Portland and Bridport awards to give us our West Dorset Gold Awards winners. The process is done online, and the judges cast their votes on a spreadsheet that is then entered onto the master spreadsheet, giving us our winners.
Their independence from each other means the votes are a true reflection of their views with no outside influence.
