The awards ceremonies are a great way for any business to network - you don't have to be a sponsor or shortlisted entrant to come along. They are convivial and relaxed events so people are receptive to making new working relationships - no hard selling just making new contacts!
The Event
Held at prominent local venues they are always at lunchtime - so its all about the event and not having to wear an uncomfortable dinner suit, buy a new outfit or having to book taxis and babysitters.
Usually held on a Thursday between 1200 - and 2.45 they start with a networking session , then a seated buffet lunch, then the awards ceremony, and finally another networking session as we usually have an open bar for everyone to celebrate the winners.
Attendees usually number between 60-70 and tables seat 8-10 so again the opportunity to meet new business contacts.
